Wrap Section Added and Other Updates
As part of our commitment to continuously improve Paraplanning Online and ensure it remains the leading and most innovative Suitability Report writing solution available on the market; we are pleased to announce the following updates and enhancements will soon be applied to reflect developments / trends within the industry, compliance directives and the valued feedback we have received from you, our customers. The functionality changes (such as the addition of the Wrap Recommendation Section) will take effect from 9.00am Monday 16th August.
Wrap Recommendation Section
- A brand new standalone wrap recommendation section will be added to the "New Section" drop down list for possible inclusion within a report
Confirmation Page
- As a result of customer feedback, the Confirmation Page has been moved from the final page of the report (after the Appendix) and will now be automatically included at the end of the recommendation sections and BEFORE the Appendix
- Following customer and compliance feedback, we have reviewed the wording of the confirmation page and removed the word "understand", as this could imply an unfair contract term. This has now been reworded as follows:
"I the undersigned have received this report. I accept the recommendations, and confirm I have received all supporting literature including Key Features documents, fund fact sheets and illustrations."
General
- Following compliance feedback the wording associated with the Cancellation Notice has been slightly edited and updated within all of the recommendation sections
- Following compliance feedback, we have replaced any reference to "holistic advice" with "comprehensive advice" as this is deemed more legally robust
Protection Recommendation Section
- Following customer and compliance feedback, the following caveat has been added
"Whilst I am a 'Whole of Market' intermediary and extensive research of the market has been undertaken, I cannot categorically state that the rate quoted is the absolute 'best' rate that could be obtained in any circumstances. This is because there are sometimes companies that operate in 'rate driven' markets which do not make their products available through intermediaries or operate a 'dual pricing' system."
Retirement Options Section
- Following customer feedback, some additional options have been added to the question regarding the client's income requirements
- Following compliance feedback, an additional question has been added regarding the client's Pension Commencement Lump Sum requirements. This prompts the user to include further details as to why the tax free cash (PCLS) is required
Appendix
- The Market Outlook and Property Outlook continue to be updated on a regular basis
